Marvin Crisostomo
A true southern boy, Marvin's family is from Inarajan/Malojloj.. A favorite pastime as a boy was to go down to his grandparents' ranch farm with 40+ cousins at a time. He went to school in the south, joined the Army National Guard in 2009, and now spends most of his time in the kitchen.
Christina Crisostomo
Born and raised in California by CHamoru parents, Christina grew up watching her dad cook with joy. The whole family teased him, saying he was always cooking for an army. Their house was the one that was known in the neighborhood for always having bbqs, fiestas, and great food.
About Local Jerk
Local Jerk started unofficially in 2015 when Marvin and Christina's daughter needed to raise money for a college tour trip. Marvin would make dinanche and sell it out of coolers for $10 with no label, and his beef jerky packaged in Ziploc bags. Only 3 years after making its way into people's mouths and hearts, Local Jerk became official and made its way into stores.

Local Jerk products are now enjoyed by many, but locals here in Guam and all around the world!
